Runs European (Australian) firmware in English by default, plays all PAL region 3DS and DS games, and thanks to CFW also plays North American and Japanese titles. Pokemon Bank access is preserved.

Under the lightweight clamshell shell, this has the same processor and features as the New 3DS XL — C-stick, ZL/ZR, Amiibo NFC — but drops the 3D display for a slimmer, more comfortable design. Plays New 3DS exclusives like Xenoblade Chronicles 3D.

Every modded unit is fully tested — hardware and firmware both verified before it ships.
